A Stunning Wedding at Sun Mountain Lodge in Winthrop, WA
In September, we had the privilege to photograph Emily & Jake’s wedding at the Sun Mountain Lodge in Winthrop, WA. Emily, a lover of Pride and Prejudice (among many other books), delivered one of the most well-written private vows I have ever heard. WOW, cue the tears! We met Emily and Jake last year when we took their engagement photos at Lake Wenatchee. These two lovebirds enjoy traveling, spending time in nature, cuddling with their adorable cat, and reading excellent literature.
Their wedding at Sun Mountain felt intimate and dreamy. We were surrounded by gorgeous fall colors on the mountains, stunning views, and a team of lovely people from Sun Mountain. The crew at Sun Mountain Lodge not only provided a mouth-dropping venue, but they also catered dinner, helped plan the schedule, delivered yummy drinks and snacks to the wedding party, and DJ’d the entire day. Can you say whole package or what?!
To be honest, the dance party at the end of the night maaayyyy be my favorite to date! The DJ from Sun Mountain Lodge knew how to keep the crowd happy! Miles and I didn’t want to leave! Besides the epic dance party, we also raved about the dozens of places to take gorgeous photos! Not only that, but Emily KILLED it with the centerpieces. Get this: each centerpiece was made from books from her personal library. Guess which books? Yep, different versions of Pride and Prejudice! How cool, right?!
